Minnesota IT Services partnering with the MN Department of Public Safety (DPS) intend to enter into an agreement up to 24 months/2-year agreement with Redsall Technologies, LLS for continued use of AltaScan CardScan software and uninterrupted scanner maintenance which also includes help desk help desk support.

The scanners are used to capture fingerprints for criminal and civil background checks. Due to the critical dependency the continued support critical for Minnesota’s criminal justice systems. Redsail Technologies products and services are propriety and retain exclusive ownership right. Services provided by any other entity would void all agreements and warranties and for these reasons, the State believes this to be a sole source.
