This acquisition is to procure WMATA Rail Parts that are manufactured by Alstom to be used to maintain the RAIL Fleet. Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA/Authority) needs these items to keep our rail fleet in good working order. This will be an inventory contract, with parts being ordered on an as needed basis via purchase order. WMATA is projecting an average annual usage at this time however, this is subject to change as ordering will be driven by WMATA¿s operational need.
