Project Description: The City of Tempe (“City”) is issuing this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) to a contract for the exchange, overhaul, rebuilding, and repair of Allison Transmissions and related components for City fleet vehicles. The initial term shall be two (2) years with three (3) one-year renewal options.
Services under this contract will include:
• Exchange and rebuilding of Allison transmissions;
• Pickup and delivery of City vehicles to and from the Contractor’s facility;
• Diagnostic, repair, and overhaul services for transmissions and related components;
• Establishment of firm shop labor rates and applicable pricing for parts, repairs, and related work.
