Synopsis:
|
|
The City of North Battleford is seeking qualified contractors to undertake the Cornice Restoration project at the Allen Sapp Gallery, located at 1 Railway Avenue East, North Battleford. The project involves careful restoration of the gallery’s white cornice, a character-defining element of the building.
All proposed work must comply with the Standards and Guidelines for the Conservation of Historic Places in Canada (Parks Canada, 2010), prioritizing minimal intervention and preservation of its original design, color and features.

The city will host a Site Visit on July 30, 2025 from 1:00PM to 5:00PM. This site visit is for proponents to familiarize themselves with the existing site conditions, including access points, and any logistical considerations for lifting operations when performing the restoration work. The site visit will provide an opportunity to clarify project requirements, ask questions and gain a comprehensive understanding of the scope of work.
