Allen Pond Park Stage and Stage Canopy Renovation Project

The City of Bowie, Maryland requests bids to provide the comprehensive demolition and construction services necessary to replace the Robert V. Setera amphitheater with a replacement pre-engineered metal canopy in the same location with the same general orientation as the original stage at Allen Pond Park, located at 3330 Northview Drive, Bowie, Maryland. This project will be partially funded by a Federal grant.  Complete specifications and bid documents may be obtained at no cost through Bid Locker at https://bidlocker.us/details/4354 . Electronic (pdf) bids will be received through Bid Locker at https://bidlocker.us/details/4354 until 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 3, 2025. The City of Bowie reserves the right to reject any bids.

All interested bidders are encouraged to attend the pre-bid meeting which will be held on Monday, September 29, 2025, at 9:00 a.m . at the existing amphitheater at Allen Pond Park located at 3330 Northview Drive, Bowie, MD, 20716.

All questions or requests for clarifications regarding this Invitation for Bids shall be submitted through the Bid Locker platform at https://bidlocker.us/details/4354 .  Deadline for inquiries is 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 13, 2025. Written responses to all questions and/or clarifications will be issued as an addendum to the solicitation no later than Monday, October 20, 2025, to all those who have registered with Bid Locker and downloaded the specifications and bid documents.

The City encourages certified disadvantaged business entities to submit a bid.
