Alkyre Run Wetland and Floodplain Restoration Project

Project Description: The work per the contract documents, dated October 8, 2025, and any addenda thereto, includes excavating and grading of wetland features, construction of an inlet on Alkyre Run and placement of ODOT Type D rock along the streambank at the inlet location, off-site disposal of excavated soil at an upland location, placement of on-site woody debris within the new and existing wetland features, invasive species treatment, installation of temporary erosion controls, native plantings and seeding, and appurtenances.
This project includes Federal funds, via an Ohio EPA pass through subaward grant, and is subject to applicable Federal procurement requirements. As such, the Contractor and all its Subcontractors must follow applicable Federal procurement standards and contracting provisions. All contractors must be eligible for capital projects in which Federal monies are utilized.
The Engineer's Estimate for the Project is $190,460.
The project completion date is October 31, 2026.
