Combined Synopsis Solicitation is hereby amended as follows:
Provide answers to questions submitted by interested parties.
Line Item 0003, Small Piece Folding Machine, Trade-In Existing Equipment As Is Condition Quantity is being REVISED FROM one (1) TO two (2).
Extend the Offer Due Date to December 22, 2025.
Question 1.
To accommodate standard manufacturing lead times for the specified equipment density, can the 90-day delivery time frame be modified to 135 calendar days after the effective date of the contract?
Answer 1.
The lead time will remain unchanged, 90 days.
Question 2.
What discharge direction is needed of the requested Small Piece Folding Machine? Is it return to feed or rear discharge?
Answer 2.
Return to Feeder discharge.
Question 3.
Is one (1) color touch screen on the blanket folder, used to operate both the blanket folder and stacker, acceptable for this system?
Answer 3.
Yes, this is the current configuration.
Question 4.
Is the clean take away conveyor to remain or to be replaced as part of this project?
Answer 4.
The main clean take away conveyor is not part of the project. Only the conveyor attached to and from the blanket folder to the main conveyor.
Question 5.
As this is a direct equipment replacement, is it acceptable to maintain the existing spacing between equipment?
Answer 5.
Yes, it is acceptable.
Question 6.
The VAMC Albuquerque site has two existing Small Piece Folding Machines. Are both small piece folding machines to be removed from site as part of this project?
Answer 6.
Yes, both machines are to be removed.
