Alaska Intertie Snow Load Monitoring System
THE ALASKA ENERGY AUTHORITY (AEA) IS SOLICITING PROPOSALS FOR A CONTRACTOR TO PERFORM SNOW PATROLS, WEATHER REPORTING, AND MAINTENANCE OF THE ALASKA INTERTIE SNOW LOAD MONITORING SYSTEM. THE TASKS INCLUDE ROUTINE MAINTENANCE (TASK 1), AUTOMATIC ALASKA-INTERTIE SNOW CONDITIONS PATROLS (TASK 2), CALL OUT DIRECTED BY CEA DISPATCHER (TASK 3), DAILY WEATHER REPORTING (TASK 4), AND PROVIDE TECHNICAL SUPPORT FOR FUTURE UPGRADES (TASK 5).
A pre-proposal Conference/Teleconference will be held at 1:30 PM, Alaska Standard Time, on October 21, 2025. The purpose of the Conference/Teleconference is to discuss the work to be performed with the prospective offerors and allow them to ask questions concerning the RFP. All questions raised during the meeting must be submitted in writing to the Procurement Officer and will be posted along with the answers on the Alaska Online Public Notice website as an Addenda to the RFP, as soon as possible after the meeting. Offerors with a disability needing accommodation should contact the procurement officer prior to the date set for the pre-proposal conference so that reasonable accommodation can be made.
