Lowndes County is accepting bids for

ALAPAHA WTS NEW WELLS AND WATERLINE EXTENSION

The proposed project includes the installation of two new 6-inch drinking water wells (±600 feet deep), ±9,200 LF of 6-inch DR 11 HDPE watermain, and a 20,000 gallon pneumatic tank.

The contract time is 180 calendar days. The Bid Documents may be viewed at the Lowndes County Utilities office, 327 N. Ashley Street, Valdosta, Georgia on the 1 ^st floor of the Administration building and a pdf copy of the bid documents can be obtained from the Lowndes County website.

There will be a mandatory pre-bid meeting on March 6th, 2025 at 11:00 a.m., on the 1 ^st Floor, Utilities Department Conference Room of the Lowndes County Administration Building, 327 N. Ashley Street.

Lowndes County will receive sealed proposals on this project until March 27th, 2025 at 11:00 a.m., in the Lowndes County Administration Building, 1 ^st Floor, Utilities Department Conference Room, located at 327 N. Ashley Street, Valdosta, Georgia 31601, (229-671-2500) where at such time and place the proposals will be publicly opened and read. A 5% bid bond is required.

All Bidders shall be licensed underground utility contractors in the State of Georgia.
