Remove the existing outdated/old Relay-Logic Controls and install new Microcomputer Solid State Controls. Installation to include a new Hoist way, machine room and car wiring as required.
All new material furnished Shall be specifically designated to operate with the original equipment being retained, thus assuring maximum performance, and eliminating any divided responsibility. This includes installation of new wiring - travel cables, hatch wiring, and all controllers interconnect wiring. Awarded Vendor will provide new microprocessor elevator controllers enclosed in a metal box with a hinged or screw cover and protected against dirt and all the functions of safe elevator motion and elevator door control. The controller cabinet containing memory equipment shall be properly shielded from line pollution. The microcomputer system should be designed to accept reprogramming with minimum system downtime. This should include all the hardware required to connect, transfer and interrupt power, and protect the motor against overloading. Model Motion 4000 controller package ( Non-proprietary control equipment ) or Equivalent.
