Alabama Department Of Agriculture - General Services - Air Conditioning (IT Server Room)

The Alabama Department Of Agriculture and Industries is seeking quotes to replace an air conditioner in the IT Server Room, located in the basement of the Richard Beard Building, 1445 Federal Drive, Montgomery, AL 36107.

Description Of Service: All labor and materials to replace air conditioner in IT Server Room

Vendor will be responsible for:

(1) Removing the current 30,000 British Thermal Unit (BTU) Mitsubishi Ductless Mini Split Unit.  Model: PKA-A30KA4.

(2) Install a new Fujitsu Fujajou H36PASI R32 36,000 British Thermal Unit (BTU) or equivalent with a FUJASUH36KPAS R32 36,000 Wall Mount Air Handler. If vendor will be quoting a equivalent model, vendor must provide descriptive material about equivalent model of air conditioner when submitting their bid.

(3) Install a AG3000 surge mew cp, imocatopm wore mew 3/8" and 5/8" refrigeration line set, voltage 208/230V.

(1) There is a mandatory site visit scheduled for Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at 10:00 am CST. Interested vendors must attend the site visit for bid to be considered. All questions about this project must be asked during the mandatory site visit.

(2) Work must be performed by a licensed technician.  The Alabama Department Of Agriculture and Industries reserves the right to ask vendor to show proof they are licensed.

(3) Work must be completed within 30 days from receipt of purchase order.

Note To Vendor: Model/Part Number and Descriptive Literature

The brands and model numbers referenced provide a level of quality, and unless otherwise specified, are not restrictive. Vendors quoting alternate items must provide a complete model/part number as well as descriptive/technical literature for consideration and evaluation with their quote. Reference to literature with a previous solicitation will not satisfy this requirement.  Failure to provide the required literature may result in the rejection of the vendor's response.
