AL5875133 - US 40 Alt. (National Highway) from MD 658 to Old Cash Valley Road Sidewalks

This project, located in Allegany County, is for the reconstruction of twelve sidewalk ramps along US 40 Alt. from Cupler Drive to N. Woodlawn Avenue in LaVale, MD. to meet ADA requirements.

The work will consist of the following:
(a) Constructing new sidewalk and ADA ramps.
(b) Constructing new curb and gutter.
(c) Constructing curb walls.
(d) Installing detectable warning surfaces.
(e) Removing and resetting metal railings.
(f) Erosion & Sediment Control.
(g) Maintenance of traffic.
(h) Other miscellaneous repairs as noted on the plans.

Specific locations for this contract are listed herein with the work to be performed. They include the following:

US 40 Alt. from Cupler Drive to N. Woodlawn Avenue (MP 8.003 to MP 9.424). This road is not on the NHS.
