Airport Terminal Building Development Project at Burke County Airport, Waynesboro, Georgia

Burke County Board of Commissioners will receive sealed bids for the Airport Terminal Building Development Project located at the Burke County Airport, Waynesboro, Georgia. Bids will be received by the Owner at Burke County Board of Commissioners Office at 602 Liberty Street, Waynesboro, Georgia 30830, until Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at 4:00 pm EST. All received bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the said office during the Burke County Board of Commissioners Finance Committee meeting on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at 9:00 am EST.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Airport Terminal Building Development Project includes site improvements and building construction to develop a new 2,495 square foot terminal building at the Burke County Airport, adjacent to the existing parking lot and aircraft apron, as shown in the construction documents. The scope of construction work includes airport terminal area site grading, site erosion control, asphalt pavement (access drive and parking lot), concrete curb and sidewalk, stormwater conveyance, site utility work (power/electric services, communications, water line and septic system), grassing and landscaping. The scope further includes the design/build construction of a 2,495 square foot terminal building as programmed in the attached building floorplan and specifications/requirements to produce a fully functioning building facility.
