Airport Security Gate Modifications

The Village of Schaumburg, IL will accept sealed bids via the Village's e-Procurement Portal, OpenGov ( https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/villageofschaumburg ) for 2026-IFB-039 , Airport Security Gate Modifications to be received no later than Friday, July 3, 2026 , 4:00 pm . Please fill out all items on the attachment and upload with your bid. Bids submitted after the specified time will not be accepted. Each bidder agrees the prime contractor will perform an amount equal to or greater than 51 percent of the total contract cost and provide a statement of Bidder’s qualification to do business in the State of IL or covenant to obtain such qualification prior to award of the contract.

The Airport Security Gate Modification project consists of modifications of existing (4) pedestrian gates, installation of electric strikes, installation of card readers mounted on pedestals, installation of gate access controllers, installation of new power from the Terminal Building and existing vehicular gates, installation of communication to Terminal Building and to the existing vehicular gates and programming of existing access control system. Associated work shall include but is not limited to: installation of all cable/conduits in trench and inside the Terminal Building and updating of existing access control system.
