2025 Airport North Hangar Perimeter Fence and Emergency Gate Replacement Project

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Sealed bids for furnishing the following to the City of Cortez, Colorado will be received at the Office of the General Services Director, City Service Center, 110 West Progress Circle, Cortez, Colorado, 81321, until 3:00 P.M. MDT, on Monday, October 6, 2025, at which time bids will be publicly opened and read.

SCOPE OF WORK: Provide labor and furnish all materials and equipment necessary to install 1,200 linear feet of security fencing (96-inch-high chain-link fencing with three barbwire strands at the top). Scope of work also includes the installation of an automatic entrance gate with new key pad operator and maglock pedestrian gate adjacent to airport operations office, in addition to removing and replacing the north emergency access gate along County Road G. The work is located at the Cortez Municipal Airport, 22894 Road F, Cortez, Colorado.

Bids shall be submitted in writing and signed by the bidder or its duly authorized agent.  Bids shall be submitted in sealed envelopes, and marked on the outside with “BID: 2025 Airport North Hangar Perimeter Fence and Emergency Gate Replacement Project,” and with the bidder's name.

The City of Cortez reserves the right to waive any formality or any informality in the process of awarding a bid. The City of Cortez reserves the right to accept any bid, in whole or in part, and to reject any or all bids if it be deemed in the best interest of the City to do so.
