Show Low Airport Hangar Infrastructure
City of Show Low Project No. A-1723 2.1
The City of Show Low is extending an invitation for bids for the construction of Airport Hangar
Infrastructure City of Show Low Project No. A-1723 2.1
The project is located near the easterly end of Commerce Way at the Show Low Regional
Airport in the City of Show Low. The work includes, but not necessarily limited to, grading,
paving, installation of water services, installation of a sewer lift station, sewer main and services,
installation of sewer force main, extending conduit and electrical power services, all materials,
equipment, labor, and incidentals to provide a complete project. Plans and specifications are
available for download with the Bid Documents on the City website showlowaz.gov. Paper
copies of the Bid Documents are also available at Show Low city Hall 180 N. 9th Street, Show
Low, AZ for a $20 fee. The City will provide permits at no charge to the contractor.
Sealed Bids will be received by the Engineering Department, City of Show Low, 180 N. 9th
Street, Show Low, AZ 85901 until Wednesday, October 11 at 2:00 PM, The City of Show Low
reserves the right to select the bid that best suits the City’s needs and may modify the Scope of
Work. The City of Show Low also reserves the right to reject any and all proposals not deemed
in the best interest of the City. A MANDATORY pre-bid conference will be held on
Thursday, September 28, at 2:00 PM at City Hall, 180 N. 9th Street, Show Low, AZ.
Written questions will be accepted until close of business on Thursday, October 5, 2023. Submit

Sealed Bids
Bid shall be submitted in a sealed envelope. The outside lower right-hand corner of the

INFORMATION FOR BIDDERS
1. Defined Terms and Standard Documents
Construction and administration of this Project shall be in accordance with the
requirements of the latest edition of the following separate documents except as
modified and supplemented by these Contract Documents:
Attached Technical Specifications, the Uniform Standard Specifications for
Public Works Construction Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG),
current edition, and the current edition of the City of Show Low
Supplement to MAG Specifications and Details.
Terms used in the Instructions to Bidders are defined in the General Provisions,
MAG. The term “Owner” means the City of Show Low. The term “Engineer”
means the City of Show Low City Engineer, unless otherwise stated. The term
“Bidder” means one who submits a Bid directly to Owner, as distinct from a sub-
bidder, who submits a Bid to a Bidder. The term “Successful Bidder” means the
lowest, qualified, responsible, and responsive Bidder to whom the Owner (on the
basis of Owner’s evaluation as hereinafter provided) makes an award. The term
“Bidding Documents” includes the Advertisement or Invitation to Bid, Instructions
to Bidders, the Bid Form, and the proposed Contract Documents (including all
Addenda issued prior to receipt of Bids).
2. Copies of Bidding Documents:
Complete sets of the Bidding Documents stated in the Advertisement or Invitation
to Bid may be obtained from the City of Show Low.
Complete sets of Bidding Documents must be used in preparing Bids; the Owner
does not assume any responsibility for errors or misrepresentations resulting
from the use of incomplete sets of Bidding Documents.
The Owner and Engineer, in making copies of Bidding Documents available on
the above terms, does so only for the purpose of obtaining Bids on the Work and
does not confer a license or grant for any other use.
3. Qualifications of Bidder:
To demonstrate qualifications to perform the Work, each Bidder, must be
prepared to submit within five days of Owner’s request, written evidence, such as
financial data, previous experience, present commitments, and other such data
as may be called for below (or in Supplemental Instructions). Each bid must
contain evidence of Bidder’s qualifications to do business in the State of Arizona
or covenant to obtain such qualifications prior to award of the Contract.
