Aircraft Rescue Firefighting Vehicle Body Repair

This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED.

The solicitation number for this procurement is FA483025Q0023 and it is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ).

Moody AFB requires repair of a Flight-line Crash Firetruck 2015 P-23 Oshkosh 3,000-Gallon Aircraft Rescue & Fire Fighting (ARFF) Ultra High Pressure (UHP) Vehicle that was damaged during a reversing incident. The Left Rear side panel and Rear Left side panel were damaged, and entire engine compartment on the left side was shifted slightly forward by 3/4 inch, causing the left rear tire to brush against the front of the engine compartment.

Requirements:

1. Pick-up of Fire Truck from Moody AFB.

2. Perform all repairs/replacements in accordance with Statement of Work (Attachment 1).

3. Return delivery of Fire Truck to Moody AFB.

A site visit will be conducted on 8 July 2025 at 2:00 p.m. EST. See Combo-Synopsis (attached) for more details.

Questions will be due by 11 July 2025 at 2:00 p.m. EST.

A HUBZone small business concern will receive a price evaluation preference in accordance with FAR 52.219-4. Offers will be evaluated by adding a factor of 10 percent to all offers, except those from HUBZone small business concerns or otherwise excepted as stated in the clause.

Wage Determination: This requirement will include a wage determination for the services to be performed. The specific wage determination chosen will depend on location of awarded contractor.

Period of Performance Start Date: The Fire Truck that requires repair is currently under repair by vehicle maintenance and can not be moved until complete. The estimated completion time is end of July. Due to this, the Period of Performance for this requirement would not start until current work is completed.
