Aircraft Rescue Firefighting Vehicle Lease

This Sources Sought (SS) is issued solely for market research purposes to determine potential sources. This notice does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quotation (RFQ), or Invitation for Bid (IFB) and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue an order or otherwise pay for the information solicited, nor is it a guarantee of a forthcoming solicitation or contract. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement. It is the responsibility of potential quoters to monitor SAM.gov for additional information pertaining to this requirement.

Moody AFB is searching for capable vendors able to fulfill the requirement of leasing an Aircraft Rescue Firefighting Vehicle.

Specifications:

• Must have capacity options similar or equal to 1,500 and 3,000 gallon tanks


• Vehicle must have met NFPA 414, Aircraft Rescue and Fire-Fighting Vehicles, requirements at time of manufacture


• Vehicle must have current pump test certification


• Foam tank must be free of AFFF (flushed and rinsed)

Requests:

• Please submit any Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting Vehicle (ARFF) specifications


• Vehicle is preferred to not have a Snozzle or High Reach Extendable Turret (HRET)


• Please provide estimated Lead Time needed for pick-up/delivery of vehicle


• 2 month lease initially with month to month lease following


• Vehicle may be delivered to and picked-up from Moody AFB

If able to provide vehicle shipping, please include any potential delivery options.

Responses must address the following:

• Name, address, CAGE Code, SAM UEI, and main point of contact of your company.


• Provide a capability statement to show the ability to meet the requirement.


• Specify any and all socio-economic to which your business belongs (large business, small business, Small Disadvantaged Business, Section 8(a) etc.)
