Notes:
Iowa State University of Science and Technology (ISU) is soliciting information from
qualified contractors to provide bids to rent or buy: agricultural telehandler to be
used at the Iowa State Dairy Farm. ISU is looking at the best program that will meet
their business needs.
Contractors should read all materials carefully and note the due date.
Contractors must direct all questions and comments in reference to this RFP/RFQ to
the University Representative listed.

Bid Attributes
1 Evaluation Criteria
The Evaluation Criteria utilized for this Request for Proposal will be based upon, but not limited to, the following
criteria which are listed in no particular order. ISU reserves the right to select the unit that best serves the intended
purpose of the University:
Total Cost to ISU (ISU is requesting pricing for options to buy new equipment and rent the equipment for a 3-4
year period.)
Ability to meet specifications. (Please provide detailed specifications sheet of the machine that you are
bidding. This literature should address all the requirements and preferences listed.)
Lead Time
Ability to provide warranty/repair service within 24-48 hours of notification.
Ability of the telehandler to function at ISU Dairy Farm in the opinion of ISU. ISU may request a demonstration
of the model at no cost to ISU in order to determine if unit can perform functions in a reasonable and effective
manner.
Rental Terms.
Compliance with the terms and conditions of the RFP.
