AGCS - State Road - HVAC Renovations - Kitchen and Office

Project Description: The Avon Grove Charter School will receive sealed electronic Bids for the State Road – HVAC Renovations Kitchen and Offices Project. Bids will be received by the Avon Grove Charter School, via PennBid until 2:30 p.m. December 17, 2024. All received proposals will be publicly opened and read at Avon Grove Charter School, 110 E State Road, West Grove, PA 19390 at 3:00 pm on December 17, 2024. Notice is hereby given that the Project is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, as amended, 43 P.S. 165-1 et seq., and reference is made to the prevailing minimum wage rates applicable to each Project as promulgated by the Secretary of Labor and Industry
A MANDATORY Pre-Bid Conference for ALL contracts will be held November 26, 2024, at 3:30 pm– State Road Campus – 110 E State Road, West Grove, PA 19360 for the purpose of reviewing the project. A supervised tour of the site will be conducted immediately after the Pre-Bid meeting. Unescorted inspections are not permitted.
Separate bids will be required on a lump sum basis for the following multiple construction contracts: General Trades, Electrical, Mechanical. Bona-fide Prime Bidders shall register on pennbid.net. Bidders may obtain Bidding Documents at no cost on PennBid (www.pennbid.net). Documents will be available November 18, 2024.
Mechanical Construction contract includes, but is not limited to, installation of new indoor, wall mounted mini-split units with outdoor unit, and new individual mini-split heat pump systems with corresponding indoor ceiling cassette units with outside air intakes for each office. Install new exhaust hood and associated wall-mounted fan and ductwork. Electrical Construction contract supports the mechanical scope including, but not limited to, new branch circuit power for all new HVAC systems. General Construction contract supports the mechanical scope including, but not limited to, installation of roof curbs, removal and reinstallation of acoustic ceiling, exterior wall penetrations, and patch/repair of epdm roofing.
A satisfactory corporate surety shall provide security in an amount equal to 10% of the base bid together with the aggregate sum of all additive alternates.
All proposals shall be irrevocable for sixty (60) days after bid opening date, unless delayed due to required approvals of another governmental agency, sale of bonds, or the award of a grant or grants, in which case bids shall be irrevocable for one hundred twenty (120) days.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any or all irregularities, mistakes, omissions or informalities relative thereto.
