The Work under this Project generally consists of concrete work such as concrete steps, garden and

seating walls, concrete walkways, asphalt paved trail, brick pavers, guardrails, lighting, landscaping

and an art plaza/display area for the City of Williamsburg. The project site is located at 227 Virginia

Avenue & 613 Scotland Street.

Qualifications:
All work shall be substantially completed within 150 calendar days of notice to proceed. Final completion of the work shall be within 180 calendar days of Notice to Proceed. Clearing of trees is prohibited except between November 15 and March 30.

Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5 %) of the Bid shall be submitted with each Bid.

Special Requirements:
The City of Williamsburg in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 US.C.§§ 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that they
will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in
consideration for an award. There is no DBE goal requirement for this project.
