Affordable Housing Energy Efficiency Upgrades

Project Description: The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFA) is to solicit business information, renovation proposals, and pricing proposals from building owners and/or construction teams (“Applicants”) who would like to conduct energy efficiency upgrades in one or more units of an affordable multifamily tenant-occupied housing (2+ units) building. The project, known as a Technology Demonstration (Tech Demo), is a result of the Buildings Upgrade Prize (B-UP) awarded by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) to Louisville Metro Government’s Mayors Office of Sustainability (Hereby referred to as “Louisville Metro”). The renovations will include energy efficiency improvements such as Energy Star heat pumps and enhanced weatherization.
