THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY.
This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. No contract will be awarded from this announcement. This is not a Request for Proposals (RFP) or Request for Quotations (RFQ). The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Seattle District, is conducting market research to determine the availability of qualified small business firms capable of installing and supplying four (4) digital control panels, four (4) valves with electromechanical actuators, and four (4) temperature sensors for the Albeni Fall Dam located in Oldtown, ID.
Scope of Requirement:
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers requires four (4) digital control panels, four (4) valves with electromechanical actuators, and four (4) temperature sensors. The system is required to modulate the temperature of a hydroelectric generating unit cooling water loop. The system fluid is river water, used to extract heat from the generating unit through air coolers. The water temperature is controlled by the modulating valve, which either allows water to recirculate in the cooling loop or be discharged to the river.
