Prospective bidders are advised that this project is funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. While the City of Aurora may administer the CDBG funds, this project is not a City of Aurora, Illinois project.
Sealed bids for this project must be submitted in paper format and physically delivered to:

North Island Apartment is an independent living apartment building serving adults 55 years and older. North Island Apartments offers affordable apartments as defined by Section 42 of the internal revenue code and has received federal funding to replace the roof at 2 N Stolp Ave. in Aurora, IL.
The project will include the replacement of all upper and lower roofs at North Island Apartments, 2 N. Stolp Ave., Aurora, Illinois 60505 .
North Island Apartments is an existing, functioning facility operating year-round, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, whose operations must be disrupted as little as possible by construction activities.
Federal labor standards and Davis-Bacon prevailing wage rates will apply to this project.
Businesses owned by minorities, women, or disabled persons (MWDP) are encouraged to submit bids on this Project.
