Shelco, LLC (GC CMAR) is accepting bids from the prequalified vendor list noted herein for the NCSU Wendell H. Murphy Football Center – Kitchen Renovation project.

Key dates and information for the bid are as follows:

  • Requests for Information (RFI’s):

Pre-bid RFIs will be accepted in writing until Friday, September 12th, at noon via email. Shelco is scheduled to receive reponses to all RFI on Thursday, September 18 th . All RFI’s should be sent to:

  • Bid Opening/Submission:

The Original Bid Opening has already been held. Bid Packages have for BP8B Glass & Glazing and BP21 Fire Protection have already been completed/opened and are no longer accepting submissions for these Bid Packages. The re-bid for remaining open Bid Packages has been rescheduled for Thursday, September 25 th at 2:00PM at the Administration Services III Building, 2601 Wolf Village Way, Room #101, Raleigh, NC, 27607.

The original bid opening has already taken place; bidders may deliver their sealed bids to the Shelco, LLC office, in lieu of attending/dropping off at the re-bid opening, located at 3600 Glenwood Ave., Suite 300, Raleigh, NC 27612, no later than 12:00 PM on Thursday, September 25 th .

The following documents must be submitted with your bid:

  1. Bid Form (can be found on Shelco Plan Room via Building Connected; link below)
  2. MBE Forms (can be found on Shelco Plan Room via Building Connected; link below)
  3. Bid Bond (as required, see below)

***If all documents are not submitted as listed above, subcontractor’s proposal will be deemed non-responsive.***

  • Bonding Requirements:

Bid Bonds & Payment & Performance Bonds will be required for this project for any bid exceeding $150,000. Successful bidders will be enrolled in the Subcontractor Default Insurance (SDI) program issued by the CMAR, Shelco, LLC. The cost of the SDI will be borne by Shelco, LLC.

  • HUB Participation:

Shelco, LLC is seeking participation from certified state of North Carolina HUB companies for this project. Participation is encouraged from all subcontractors. The state HUB participation goal for this project is 10%.

  • Contract Documents:

Complete plans, specifications, and supporting documents can be obtained electronically at Shelco, LLC’s online plan room through Building Connected.
