The City seeks to engage with a professional and experienced organization to provide Administrative and Consulting Services to Develop and Implement a Participatory Budgeting (PB) Program which shall include, but not be limited to, Community Engagement, Process Design and Implementation Support.
The Citys Annual Budget follows the Calendar year beginning on January 1
st
and ending on December 31
st
. Traditionally the City begins the budgeting process in June or July. The budget is traditionally adopted in December. The proposed timeline for the first Participatory Budgeting Program is as follows:

Proposed Start Date of Program: Implementation of Participatory Budgeting (PB) will begin in July 2026.

Budget Alignment: This timeline ensures alignment with the allocation of 2026 budget funds, enabling proper financial planning

Preparation and Engagement: Planning and community engagement efforts will be completed in advance to ensure readiness.

Execution Timeline: Winning proposals will be implemented during the 2026 calendar year.

Focus on Timely Implementation: The timeline prioritizes seamless preparation, funding alignment, and timely execution of community-driven projects.
