Ozarka College in Melbourne, Arkansas, will accept sealed Contractor Bids for the Administration Building Reroof in Melbourne, Arkansas. Proposals will be accepted no later than 2:00PM local time, April 14, 2026. All contractors submitting a Proposal are invited to attend and will be notified of the results.
The location for the bid opening will be in the Conference Room of the Administration Building at 218 College Drive, Melbourne, Arkansas 72556.
Each Proposal shall be contained within a sealed envelope which is clearly identified with the project=s name and contractor=s name. The Owner, unless designated to another entity, supervises the bidding and awarding of all construction contracts, approves contracts, change orders and requests for payment.
A Mandatory Pre-Bid meeting for the General Contractors will be held at the project site at 11:30AM local time, April 2, 2026.
Contract documents may be examined in the office of Architecture Plus, Inc. or the plan rooms listed below:

A complete electronic set of contract documents may be obtained from the office of the Architect by emailing Rachelle Riddle at rriddle@archplusinc.net , and requesting such. The Architect will not be issuing paper copies of the Contract Documents. Technical questions pertaining to the Work shall be directed to Michael Johnson, AIA, michael@archplusinc.net during the bidding process. During the bidding process, bidding questions and/or bid submission, and/or Owner issued RFP procedures shall be directed to Amber Rush, VP Finance, Ozarka College, 870-368-2014, amber.rush@ozarka.edu
Obtaining contract documents through any source other than Architecture Plus, Inc. is not advisable due to the risk of receiving incomplete or inaccurate information, and the bidder runs the risk of basing bidder=s proposal on such information. The documents obtained through the Architect are considered the official version and take precedence if any discrepancies occur.
Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid must accompany each bid in excess of $20,000.00 in accordance with the Supplement to Instructions to Bidders.
The successful bidder on construction that exceeds $20,000.00 shall provide a performance and payment bond for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. This bond must be filed in the county where the work is being performed before authorization to proceed is granted.
All bidders must conform to the requirements of the Arkansas State Licensing Law for General Contractors. All general contractors submitting a proposal/bid shall be licensed on the day of bid opening.
No bidder may withdraw his bid within thirty (30) days after the bid date.
The Owner reserves the right to waive any formalities, reject any and all bids and to accept bids which are in their best interest.
