The following statements supersede & supplement the corresponding items:
1. Question: Considering that there is a national holiday on Friday, July 4, would the state grant a time extension to July 16, 2025 to allow for a more complete and thorough response?
Answer: No. With the deadline being July 9, firms have 38 days in which to respond. The average number is a minimum of 30 days; therefore, respondents are already receiving an extension.
2. Question: On page 11 and 12, there are seven (7) criteria that will be evaluated, all focused on coastal engineering capabilities. This closely reflects the bulleted scope of services in Attachment C. In Attachment C (overview) first sentence, there is a request for “continuing services for park development/improvement.” Are we to propose and provide a team to assist with park development or is the State only interested in the seven (7) bulleted items listed in Attachment C?
Answer: As stated on page 1 of Attachment C, the “services may include, but are not limited to,” the 7 bulleted items.
3. Question: In 2015, the FDEP BDC issued DEP Solicitation No. RFSOQBDC02-15/16 for statewide professional coastal engineering services. The contract is not expected to expire until July 2026. Is it the State’s intention to have two contracts running simultaneously with similar scopes?
Answer: In the event an existing Company under RFSOQBDC02-15/16 is awarded under the new RFSOQBDC01-24/25, the existing contract may be dissolved and replaced with the new contract under RFSOQBDC01-24/25.
In all other respects, the contract documents of which this is an Addendum, and attachments relative thereto, shall remain in full force and effect.
