Addendum No. 1

REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL NO. 26-0081

9th Ward Stadium Athletic Facility Operator

This Addendum and Clarification item forms a part of the RFQ Documents and modifies the

original RFQ Documents issued January 13, 2026. Acknowledge receipt of this Addendum on the

Addendum Form of the Request for Qualifications. Failure to do so may subject proposal to

disqualification.

CLARIFICATION:

1. Question: When are you planning on construction beginning? Completed?

Answer: Upon successful award by the Board (currently projected for the end of March, as

is this agreement), NOLA Public Schools expects to break ground as soon as it is practical,

hopefully in early April. The project build is scheduled for 12 months, plus weather days and

other unforeseen issues.

2. Question: Many events have a year+ lead time to get booked, with that in mind, when is the

first event expected? Do you have a target date for the first G.W. Carver High School

Football game?

Answer: The first game of the 2027 season has not been set, but Carver’s first game in 2024-

2025 was September 6, and 2025-2026 was September 12. Please note, while this stadium is

considered home field for Carver when they play at the location, the first game of the year at

the stadium could conceivably be between other teams depending on schedule. NOLA Public

Schools is aware of the lead time on game scheduling and hope to have the operator on board

in April to begin the booking process, with an understanding that during the first year of use,

maximum occupancy may not be achieved.
