ADDENDUM NO. 1
Addendum No. 1 has been issued for the bid “Quarterly and Annual Sprinkler System Inspections and
Testing and Repairs of Sprinkler Systems, Standpipes, Hydrants, Fire Pumps and Backflow
Preventers at Various Somerset County Locations, Contract #: CC-0167-24”, on Thursday,
December 14, 2023 and has been delivered as an electronic transmission to all eligible vendors who have
received bid specifications.
Copies of Addendum No. 1 may be seen or procured at the following location: County of Somerset,
Administration Building, Purchasing Division, 20 Grove Street, Somerville, New Jersey 08876 during regular
business hours Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., or on the Somerset County website at
www.co.somerset.nj.us.
To All Concerned:
The original bid specification package for the above referenced project is amended as noted.
CONCERNING BID SPECIFICATIONS:
Item 01:
Pages 19 and 20 shall be replaced with Pages 19-Rev and 20-Rev, which revised column
labeled “Standpipe” to “Standpipe Connections” in Appendix A.
QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS:
Question 1: On page 19 under standpipes, is the number show the amount of standpipes or number of
hose valves?
Answer 1: Refer to Item 01 under Concerning Bid Specifications in the Addendum No. 1.
Question 2: Who is the best contact person for any additional questions?
Answer 2: Pre-bid questions shall be sent via email to PurchasingDiv@co.somerset.nj.us.
