Contractors are responsible for acknowledging receipt of this addendum by completing the Addenda

Acknowledgement form in the bid proposal packet. This addendum is also posted on the City’s website

(www.fortogov.com) under the Bids and Proposals tab (https://fortogov.com/bids-proposals/).

1. Question: Is a bid bond required?

2. Answer: Only if the contract amount exceeds $250,000.

3. Question: Will the successful bidder be required to have a payment and performance bond?

Answer: Only if the contract amount exceeds $250,000.

4. Question: How deep and wide do you want the footers to be for the gate posts, terminal posts and

the line posts?

Answer: Per the manufacturer’s recommendations.

5. Question: Is middle rail required on any fencing?

Answer: Per the manufacturer’s recommendations.

6. Question: Where in the building would the electrical panel be for the power source to the gates?

Answer: There will be a junction box located approximately 10’ from the corner of the building next

to where the small walk gate will be located.

7. Question: What should be the keypad manufacturer?

Answer: No preference.
