Proposal Due Date: Monday, October 19, 2026, at 3 PM
This Addendum No. 1 is issued to clarify and amend the Request for Proposals (RFP). All
other terms, conditions, specifications, and requirements of the original RFP remain
unchanged unless specifically modified by this Addendum.
1. VENDOR LOCATION REQUIREMENT
To be eligible for consideration, the responding vendor must maintain an established office
or principal place of business within the United States and must be legally authorized to
conduct business in the United States.
The proposal must identify the vendor's:
* Legal business name;
* Primary office address;
* Additional U.S. office location(s), if applicable;
* Primary contact person;
* Telephone number; and
* Email address.
2. REGIONAL VENDOR CONSIDERATION
The Downtown Tecumseh DDA values partnerships with businesses that have a
demonstrated presence and understanding of the region.
Preference may be given to regional vendors when proposals are otherwise
substantially comparable in qualifications, experience, proposed approach, and cost,
subject to applicable City of Tecumseh and DDA purchasing policies and all
applicable state and federal requirements.

For purposes of this RFP, a regional vendor is generally considered to be a firm with an
established office and/or substantial ongoing business presence in Michigan or the
surrounding Great Lakes region.
Vendors wishing to be considered as a regional vendor should clearly identify their regional
office location(s), relevant local or regional experience, and demonstrate understanding of
the communities and businesses they serve.
3. SEALED PROPOSAL SUBMISSION - NO EMAIL SUBMISSIONS
IMPORTANT: PROPOSALS MUST BE SUBMITTED AS SEALED HARD-COPY PROPOSALS.
EMAIL SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
Proposals must be:
A. Mailed to the address identified below; or
B. Hand-delivered to the address identified below.
Proposals submitted by email, electronic transmission, or other electronic delivery will not
be accepted or considered as a valid proposal submission.
All proposals must be received by the Downtown Tecumseh DDA no later than the stated
proposal deadline. Vendors are responsible for allowing sufficient time for mailed
proposals to arrive by the deadline.
