TO BIDDERS AND PLAN HOLDERS ON THE ABOVE REFERENCED PROJECT: PLEASE NOTE CONTENTS HEREIN AND INCLUDE, SIGNED, WITH YOUR BID SUBMISSION.
NOTICE
It will be required that this addendum be signed in acknowledgment of receipt and that it be included with your Bid when same is submitted to Alisha Sadler, Contracts Specialist, Bureau of Design and Construction, 3800 Commonwealth Blvd., MS #520, Tallahassee, Florida, 32399-3000. Failure to do so may be grounds for rejection of the Bid.

The following statements supersede & supplement the corresponding items in the specifications & drawings:
- Question: Are we required to get a DEP, Army Corp & County permit for this project?
Answer: No permits are required. The project was determined to be exempt from any USACE, FDEP, and SJRWMD permits.
- Question: Are there any additional permits we would have to get?
Answer: Additional county building permits are required.
- Question: What are the regulations for equipment? We have a rubber track mini excavator and an NPK vibrating compactor plate to install the pilings. Is that method an issue with this job?
Answer: The project requires top down construction. Impacts to the dunes and vegetation shall be minimized as much as possible.
- Question: Are any type of mats going to be required?
Answer: The project will require top down construction and impacts to the dunes and vegetation shall be minimized as much as possible.
- Question: Can Lumberock 2x6 Coastal Collection Decking (24” O.C. span) be considered an acceptable alternative for the specified 2x6 composite decking?
Answer: As long as Lumberock is deemed the same or better than the basis of design it is acceptable.
In all other respects, the contract documents of which this is an Addendum, and attachments relative thereto, shall remain in full force and effect.
