The following statements supersede & supplement the corresponding items in the specifications & drawings:
1. Question: I see that demolition services are requested for the above-mentioned ITB. Where can we access more information on the particular demolition services required??
Answer: The demolition includes the removal of trees and vegetation necessary to construct the RV sites and utility connections.
2. Question: In the attachment name ARM-267-DEP-2024-1142, it states that “It is the opinion of this agency that ground-disturbing activities for the above project should be monitored by someone who has completed our Archaeological Resource Management (ARM) training program.” Please confirm that this person will be provided by the State.
Answer: Yes, this will be monitored by the State.
3. Question: Provide the size of the existing water main, material of the existing water main and tapping detail for the 1” water services.
Answer: The size and material are unknown; however, it is believed to be a 2” metal pipe installed in the late 1960’s based on information from park staff. The tap should be per Miami-Dade County Standard Details (See attached).
4. Question: Identify the size and pipe type for the electrical conduits being installed. Note #9 does not provide a size or pipe type/schedule.
Answer: The project is anticipated to use (2) 125 amp, 2 pole circuit breakers for the RV pedestals with (2) Sch 80 2” conduit runs with (3) 1 & (1) 6G. Revised plans with electrical details will be provided at a later date for the Building Department permitting.
5. Question: Identify if individual electrical conduits will be run to each pad, or if a single conduit will be run from the existing panel to the first pad and then towards the second pad.
6. Question: Will the park be supplying an electrical contractor to complete the electrical installations? The current drawings identify an electrical pedestal, but there are no electrical drawings identifying loads, wire sizes, conduit sizes, etc.
Answer: No, the electrical work should be bid as part of this scope. Electrical plans will be provided for Building Department Permitting.
7. Question: Note #10 on page C105 states that “IN LOCATIONS WHERE ADEQUATE PIPE COVER CAN NOT BE ACHIEVED, USE FLOWABLE FILL PER SECTION 03375 MDWASD SHALL BE USED.” What is the minimum coverage?
Answer: Please refer to the Miami Dade County Standard detail for a Service Connection.
8. Question: Advise if a retaining edge detail will be required at the edge of the RV pads. The current section does not provide a method/detail to delineate the edge of the crushed granite from the adjacent ground.
Answer: No edge is required.
In all other respects, the contract documents of which this is an Addendum, and attachments relative thereto, shall remain in full force and effect.
