Ralpho Township will use Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds to update the rear entrance of a township facility to meet ADA standards.

Demolition:

• Existing concrete stairs and pad

• Handrails

• Roof and support posts over the stairs

• Wind block

• One downspout

• Associated walls and foundations

• Existing electrical outlet, wiring, and conduit up to the service panel

Construction and Improvements:

• New concrete ADA-compliant ramp with foundations

• Concrete block walls and landing with stainless steel handrails

• New concrete stairs with stainless steel handrails

• Sawcutting of the paved parking lot for ramp and stair installation

• New canopy roof with posts, built-in gutters, and downspouts

• Concrete-filled steel bollards

• New vertical siding over T1-11 at three locations

• Installation of Norton 5740K3 Power Operator Kit to the existing exterior door

• Pavement restoration in sawcut areas

• ADA-compliant parking space with:

  • Accessible route

  • Pavement paint and striping

  • Concrete tire stop

  • ADA signage

• Relocation of:

  • Two (2) existing lights

  • One (1) security camera (to under the new canopy roof)

• Installation of one (1) new light fixture

The project includes all workmanship and appurtenances required for a complete job.
