The USGS Eastern Ecological Science Center (EESC) located in Turner Falls, MA has a requirement is to fabricate an one acrylic oval water tunnel where the contractor is responsible for the final design, fabrication, and delivery includes, but not limited to the following:

- The acrylic oval water tunnel fabrication consists of a rectangular internal cross-sectional profile of approximately 22.5¿ wide x 24.5¿ deep and an overall foot print of approximately 20¿ x 10¿ based on a drawing set and CAD models provided by the Contracting Officers Technical Representative. The contractor will be responsible for working with the technical liaison in a rapid process of design finalization, thus allowing for an agreed-upon final design. Upon design approval from the technical liaison, production can begin, once production is finished. The contractor will be responsible for the postage of the item being delivered to USGS for a final inspection test that will be performed by Eastern Ecological Science Center.
- Period of Performance is 48 days.
- Request for Quotes (RFQ) 140G0125Q0153 will close July 16, 2025, 10:00 am pacific time.
- The NAICS Code is 326121. The size standard is 600 employees. This acquisition will be small business set-aside.
- The anticipated award date of the contract is July 23, 2025. A vendor must be registered at https://www.sam.gov/portal to be eligible for award. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Quotes may be emailed to dparkin@usgs.gov. Faxed Quotes will not be accepted.

- Amendment 0001 has been implemented to provide a set of questions and answers document please reference B09 Questions and Answers Amendment 1. Statement of work has been updated as well. The closing date has been extended from: July 16, 2025, 10:00 am pacific standard time to: July 18, 2025, 10:00 am pacific standard time.
