Actuarial Services for Pension Plans

Project Description: The City of Dallas (City) is soliciting proposals to establish a contract for actuarial analysis and review services related to (1) the Texas Government Code Section 802.1012 compliant actuarial audit of the Dallas Police and Fire Pension System (DPFPS), DPFPS Supplemental Plan, if needed, and Employees’ Retirement Fund (ERF) of the City (required by State law), (2) annual review of pension plans for the DPFPS, DPFPS Supplemental Plan, and ERF, (3) annually calculate the actuarially determined contribution (ADC) rate for the DPFPS, DPFPS Supplemental Plan, and ERF, and (4) Ad-hoc consulting services related to the City’s uniformed and civilian employee pension plans for a term of five years with the option for two one year renewals.
