The Attleboro Retirement System issues this RFP for qualified professional actuarial firms to provide a complete actuarial studies and perform actuarial services as of January 1, 2025 on behalf of the ACRS. All actuarial services will comply with all of the provisions required by the Public Employee Retirement Administration Commission (“PERAC”), Massachusetts General Law Chapter 32, the code of Massachusetts Regulations 840 section 16.08, the specific needs of the Attleboro Contributory Retirement System based on assumptions established by the Board for prior actuarial studies.
This RFP was originally issued with a submission deadline in April 2025. However, it has been reissued due to an incorrect date cited for the actuarial valuation studies (see page 6). No other changes have been made to the content or scope of this RFP

Proposal Formats and Requirements: A total of Eight (8) complete copies of proposals are required to be submitted. One (1) original and Five (5) hard copies are to be sent to the attention of Rachel Dindy, Executive Director at Attleboro City Hall, Government Center, Attn: Attleboro Retirement Board, 77 Park Street, Attleboro, MA 02703 as well as one (1) electronic copy and one (1) hard copy sent to Murphy, Hesse, Toomey and Lehane, LLP at 50 Braintree Hill Office Park, Suite 410, Braintree, MA 02184 on or before 12:00pm on Wednesday, August 13, 2025. Any late, incomplete, faxed, or electronically mailed proposal(s) will be rejected. Only original signed proposals will be accepted.
