The Town of Acton, Massachusetts, Office of the Town Manager, will receive sealed bids for Acton Fire Station No. 3 Apparatus Bay Tight Tank Project located at 256 Central Street, Acton, MA. General bids are due June 18, 2025, at 2:00 PM.
Bidding procedures shall be in accordance with the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 149, Section 44A through Section 44H, inclusive, and Chapter 30, Section 39M, as amended.

Every bid shall be accompanied by a bid deposit. Bid Security shall be at least five percent (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount, considering all alternates. The Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond shall be:

A pre-bid walk-through will be held at 11:00 AM on June 4, 2025, at Fire Department Station No. 3, located at 256 Central Street, Acton, MA.
DCAMM certification in the category of Plumbing Prime is required for the General Contractor. The minimum wages to be paid for all labor on the project are established in a schedule issued by the Commissioner of Labor and Industries, in accordance with Section 26A - 27D inclusive, of Chapter 149 of the M.G.L., as amended, said schedule being made a part of the Contract Documents and is included therein.
The bidder agrees that its bid shall be good and may not be withdrawn for a period of 30 days, Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays excluded, after the opening of the bids.
All submitted bids are the property of the Town of Acton and are public record. Any bidder may withdraw their bid prior to the bid opening.
The Awarding Authority reserves the right to waive any informalities, to accept or reject, in whole or in part, any or all bids, or take whatever other action may be deemed to be in the best interest of the Town of Acton.
