Zoning Board of Adjustment
TAKE NOTICE that on the 3rd day of August, 2026, the Millburn Township Zoning Board of Adjustment took the following actions:
1. Calendar No. 4071-26. Adopted a resolution memorializing the granting of variance relief
from sections 608.3 (steep slope disturbance); 609.6a (wall/fence combination height);
606.2e1d (front yard setback); 607.3e (front yard coverage) of the Millburn Development
Regulations/Zoning Ordinance to Sudhir/Dipali Jain to construct an addition on the property
located at 32 Twin Oak Road, Short Hills.
2. Calendar No. 4077-26. Adopted a resolution memorializing the granting of variance relief
from section 606.2e2a (building coverage) of the Millburn Development Regulations/Zoning
Ordinance to Samuel/Elyssa Powell to construct an open-air pavilion on the property located
at 10 Farmstead Road, Short Hills.
3. Calendar No. 4086-26. Adopted a resolution memorializing the granting of variance relief
from sections 608.3 (steep slope disturbance); 609.6a (front yard wall height); 606.2e1d
(front yard setback) of the Millburn Development Regulations/Zoning Ordinance to Bharat
Sadula to construct retaining walls on the property located at 2 Brantwood Terrace, Short
Hills.
4. Calendar No.4087-26. Adopted a resolution memorializing the granting of variance relief
from section 606.2e1d (front yard setback); 606.2e1e2b (side yard setback) of the Millburn
Development Regulations/Zoning Ordinance to Rakesh/Mona Raju to construct an addition
on the property located at 51 Sagamore Road, Millburn.
Copies of the aforementioned resolution are on file in the office of the Board Secretary, Millburn Town Hall, 22 E. Willow Street, and available for public inspection between 8:30 AM -- 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday
5. Calendar No. 4085-26. Granted variance relief from sections 606.2e2a (building coverage)
and 606.2e2d (floor area ratio) of the Millburn Development Regulations/Zoning Ordinance
to Scott Dorfman to construct an attached garage on the property located at 19 Randall
Drive, Short Hills.
6. Calendar No. 4079-26. Granted variance relief from sections 606.2e1f (combined side yard
setback); 606.2e2a (building coverage); 606.2e2b (lot coverage); 607.3e (front yard
coverage); 606.2e1d (prevailing front yard setback); 606.2e2d (floor area ratio) of the
Millburn Development Regulations/Zoning Ordinance to Hao Wang/Zhengzi Li to construct
an addition and deck on the property located at 14 Rawley Place, Millburn.
Resolutions memorializing the decision of the Zoning Board of Adjustment with respect to the above matter will be adopted at the September 14, 2026 meeting.
7. Calendar No. 4074-26. Announced that the application of Little Club Tennis Center,
for an appeal and/or use variance, for the property located at 60 Linden Street was carried
to a special meeting to be held on September 28, 2026.
8. Calendar No. 4089-26. Announced that the application of Young-Keating to install a
pool/front yard fence/front yard parking area on the property located at 46 Troy Drive,
Short Hills, was carried to August 17, 2026, for scheduling purposes, only.
9. Calendar No. 4090-26. Announced that the application of David Sodowick to install a
pool on the property located at 32 Merrywood Lane, Short Hills, was carried to August 17,
2026, for scheduling purposes, only.
