This is a non-personal services contract to provide acquisition services. The Government will not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services.Such contract service providers are accountable solely to the Contractor who in turn is responsible to the Government.
The purpose of this contract is to provide support to AAQ-7200 to faciliate completion of the growing acquisition workload across the FAA. This contract does not provide for Contractor employees to perform inherently governmental duties such as obligation appropriated funds or executing contractual documents.
The objective of this contract is to support AAQ-7200 by obtaining qualified personnel to provide acquisition support services in the contract specialist/contract administrator discpline for a period TBD. The services required are not inherently governmental functions. The skill set will be substantially similar to the skill set required of the civil service OPM !!02 series with competence at the GS-25 through GS-14 levels.
