Acquisition and Reuse of the Dr. Patrick Cassidy House

This Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is being issued by the City of Norwich to solicit interest from experienced developers including individuals (“Respondents”), to acquire the subject property (98 Washington Street) to preserve, develop, rehabilitate and reuse the parcel and the associated existing historic building, known as the Dr. Patrick Cassidy House. Respondents shall understand that the city’s primary goal is to eliminate blight and return this property to private hands to return to the tax roll of the City of Norwich. This property was acquired by the City through foreclosure in 2021 and is being offered in as-is condition.
