Accessible Beach Ramp, Landing & Parking

The Resort Village of Tobin Lake is inviting sealed tenders from qualified and experienced contractors for the design and construction of an accessible beach ramp and landing, including designated accessible (handicapped) parking.

The project consists of a turnkey solution for providing safe, inclusive, and code-compliant beach access for persons with disabilities and mobility challenges. The scope of work includes design, materials, labour, construction, inspections, and commissioning of an outdoor wheelchair-accessible ramp and landing, as well as accessible parking stalls and connecting access routes.

All work must comply with applicable CSA accessibility standards, provincial and municipal building codes, and Occupational Health and Safety requirements. The estimated project value is approximately $100,000 CAD.

The tender closing date is 5 February 2026, with construction anticipated to begin in May 2026 and a mandatory final completion date of 30 November 2026.

This is an open competitive tender. Award will be based on best value for money; the lowest price will not necessarily be accepted.
