Notice to Bidders and Newspaper Advertisement

The State University of New York at Canton will receive sealed bids for project number 231055 titled Accessibility and Site Improvements, CARC until 2:00 p.m. local time on December 12, 2024, at French Hall Room 206, where such proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud.

All Work Proposed Will Be Completed Between the dates of May 12, 2025 and August 15, 2025.

Bidding and Contract Documents may be examined free of charge at the campus and at the following locations.

SUNY Canton, Cooper Service Complex, 34 Cornell Drive Canton, NY 13617

A pre-bid walk through will be held December 3, 2024, at 10:00 am with contractors
assembling at Cooper Service Complex.

Bids must be submitted in duplicate in accordance with the instructions contained in the
Information for Bidders. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid.

It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage
minority business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy.

The State University of New York reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
