Scope of Services
The purpose of this Invitation to Bid (ITB) is to solicit competitive sealed Bids for Zenith Accelerated Learning Academy (ZENP), Kissimmee Middle School (KMMS), New Beginnings Education Center (NBEC) & Voyager K-8 School (VYK8) Access Control Projects.
This Specification establishes the minimum requirements for this solicitation, listed and described in the body of these specifications, to be used as noted, by The School Board of Osceola County, FL.
A Contractor shall provide Chatsworth 30330-719 horizontal cable manager (or equivalent) to each MDF/IDF closet.
B Contractor shall provide an accurate count of all terminated cables in each MDF/IDF closet to the SSEM & Technology Departments or designee.
C All Hubs/Control Panels cabling shall terminate to dedicated patch panels in the local MDF/IDF telecom room. Patch panel installation location in racks to be coordinated with SSEM Safety Security and Emergency Management Network Communications Analyst (Alfredo Torres) or designee.
D All cabling shall be labeled at both ends to indicate Hubs/Control Panels number, patch panel number and port number. All labels shall be printed in accordance with UL 969, not handwritten.
E Contractor shall be responsible for all permitting requirements per SDOC Code Compliance.
F All construction areas shall be returned to a safe and clean condition at the end of each workday in compliance with SDOC Division 27 Standards. All material returned to SDOC shall be neatly boxed and left on site at an agreed location with project manager or designee and Site Administration.
G All products shall be on the SDOC approved products list or submitted for approval prior to procurement.
H Contractor shall be responsible for all access control installations to manufacturer`s installation specifications.
I All Hubs/Control Panels shall be labeled for identification with specific locations where wire is terminated and patch panel. (Example: If Hub #3 is located in building two (2) second, floor IDF/MDF on patch panel A,#1. The label on mounting surface of Hub/Control Panel support should read IDF 2-201 / PP: A-1)
J All the above information should be included into a compiled list within Microsoft Excel.
K Project Schedule projected Start Date: June 24, 2026, and End Date: January 29, 2027
