ACAN Testing Sclerotinia sclerotiorum isolates for Fungicide Sensitivity

Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada requires the testing of fungicide sensitivity in Canadian Sclerotinia sclerotiorum isolates. This testing includes:

Testing of 133 S. sclerotiorum isolates to determine the ED50 and ED98 of each isolate when exposed to varying concentrations of prothioconazole, boscalid, and azoxystrobin fungicides.

Testing of 266 S. sclerotiorum isolates to determine the ED50 and ED98 of each isolate when exposed to varying concentrations of pydiflumetofen, fluopyram and fludioxonil.

Testing 133 S. sclerotiorum isolates against 3 of the above fungicides, TBD at a later date

Optional testing of up to 133 more S. sclerotiorum isolates agains 3 of the above fungicides, TBD at a later date.

A contracting officer can use limited tendering for specific reasons outlined in the applicable trade agreements. The reason for this contract is described below:
