Written statements of the supplier's capabilities, referencing the ACAN # 2026-04RM292 are to be received on or before 4:00 p.m. Central Standard Time, 02/27/2026. If no responses are received, a contract may be pursued with the supplier.

Intention

The Rural Municipality of Milton No. 292 intends to contract with Kee Sheet Metal (2016) Ltd.(located in Kindersley, SK) on the basis that they are familiar with the Water Treatment Plant located in Alsask, the requirements to upgrade, and are the only supplier able to provide the product and services that meets the Rural Municipality of Milton No. 292 requirements for this procurement, as described below.

Invitation to Respond

Suppliers that consider themselves able to meet the requirements identified in the Scope of Work section below and are able to provide the products and services can challenge this action by submitting a written statement of the capabilities that clearly demonstrates how they meet these requirements. All statements of capabilities that are received will be evaluated to determine if one or more suppliers are capable of meeting the requirements.

In the event that one or more suppliers are capable of meeting the Rural Municipality of Milton No. 292's requirements, the Rural Municipality of Milton No. 292 may conduct a competitive process before making any final award.

If no written statements of capabilities are received, or if the Rural Municipality of Milton No. 292 determines based on its evaluation that no other supplier is capable of meeting the requirements, the Rural Municipality of Milton No. 292 intends to proceed to award the contract and no further procurement process will be undertaken.

Until a formal written agreement is finalized and accepted by both the Rural Municipality of Milton No. 292 and a supplier, the Rural Municipality of Milton No. 292 does not intend to create any contractual relationship (either expressed or implied) or create any other legal duties or obligations with any supplier submitting a response to this ACAN.

Without limiting the generality of the above statement, the Rural Municipality of Milton No. 292 reserves the right, in its sole discretion at any time and for any reason, to:

reject or accept any and all responses to this ACAN; and

cancel this ACAN process at any time for any reason (with or without commencing a
new process in its place).
