Solicitation Description:

The AC and Traction Power rooms and associated power equipment are aging. To maintain a high level of readiness and safety, obsolete and/or worn-out equipment need to be installed/replaced on its lifecycles varying from 18 to 40 years. The rigging and hauling services needed are for AC switchgear, panel boards, transformers, cables, motor control centers, battery banks, lighting, generators, Uninterrupted Power Systems (UPS), Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) and associated conduit and connection equipment. The work will require the means for heavy rigging, hauling, relocation, removal, and disposal of multiple types of electrical equipment to and from various Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) facilities
