Qualifications:
|
In order to be considered for award, the Contractor must meet the following mandatory minimum qualifications:
a) Must have appropriate credentials, licenses, and/or certifications to provide HVAC services in the state of North Carolina.
b) Contractor must be registered with the North Carolina Secretary of State as a business operating in the state.
c) Technicians assigned to Forsyth County’s account must have a minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in commercial/industrial HVAC work, specifically servicing chillers.
d) Contractor must submit a minimum of three references with the proposal of accounts in North Carolina of similar size and scope of Forsyth County, which have been serviced within the last five (5) years.
e) Vendor must have at least one staff member who maintains specific training on industrial and/or commercial type chiller equipment, who will be available to service Forsyth County's equipment. As a part of the bid response, the vendor must supply documentation of the staff member's training and certifications relating to industrial and/or commercial type chiller equipment
f) Contractor must provide a single point of contact to handle requests, address needs, and manage the overall contract. This point of contact MUST be able to address needs, fulfill requests, coordinate training, and provide feedback on other issues pertaining to the contract.
g) Must be physically located within 30 miles of 201 N. Chestnut Street, Winston-Salem, NC.
h) Must directly employ all staff. Sub-contracting of staff is not permitted.
i) Must comply with Forsyth County’s insurance requirements.
