Public Notice of RFQ for Engineering Services
Date: July 27th, 2025
Town of O’Kean has received an Arkansas Community and Economic Development Program (ACEDP) grant from the Arkansas Economic Development Commission for a prefabricated storm shelter project.
Town of O’Kean is interested in acquiring the services of an engineering firm or individual to provide services for the above-referenced project.
Procedures for selection of an individual/firm will be in accordance with ACEDP procurement requirements. All responses will be evaluated in terms of specialized experience and technical competence; performance; capacity and capability of the firm/individual to perform work; and proximity to and familiarity with the project area. Negotiations will begin with the respondent obtaining the highest total score in the evaluation process.
Interested parties are invited to secure a Request for Qualifications package from East Arkansas Planning & Development District by emailing Miranda Sullens, msullens@eapdd.com .
All interested parties must submit three copies of their response to the Request for Qualifications package to Miranda Sullens, East Arkansas Planning & Development District, 2905 King Street, P.O. Box 1403, Jonesboro, AR. 72403. Statements of Qualifications will be accepted no later than 4:00 pm, August 15th, 2025.
